The Margaret Hudson Program

Health Services

The Margaret Hudson Program places a strong emphasis on prenatal and postpartum health care and education. Upon entry into the program, each student is assigned a registered nurse who conducts weekly health conferences, performs health screenings and assessments, provides prenatal care, and serves as a liaison between the student and other health care professionals. Health care is coordinated as part of the student's overall case management, appointments are scheduled to minimize class absences, and transportation is provided for off-campus doctor's visits. Clinical services, including immunizations, are provided for students' children.
